Guest guest
Judy, this is really interesting. The dysbiosis is reported on the FDA adverse reactions many times. I'm wondering how dysbiosis plays a role in the break down of PEG in the Gut...............read the last paragraph in this article titled, "Fatal Disnatremia caused by Elective Colonoscopy" written by Ayus. It's under, "Golytley was not responsible for the morbidity and deaths" It states: "I find it difficult to believe that intestinal secretion was the cause of the complications or deaths UNLESS these patients had the unappreciated presence of gut mucosal ischaemia or bacterial infection such as C-difficle" According to this article, there must be research on this for them to come to this conclusion? What happens when there is 0+ good bacteria in the gut and a child is given PEG? What are the conditions if there are certain bacteria present like H-pylori and one takes PEG? Dr. Natasha believes that constipation is a result of gut dysbiosis, and thus the treatment is aimed at correcting that with appropriate diet, a few supplements and measures for detoxification. 1 of 1 Photo(s)
