Dana - Were you fighting ocd with this?

RE: treating bad bacteria

Amy,

Phytobiotic by Enzymatic Therapies works great for us for bacteria. If you Google it, you can find it online or call Lee Silsby pharmacy. Straight goldenseal, which you can purchase at the healthfood store is also quite effective. We tried flagyl but had horrible side effects with it. We didn't finish the rx but I do think it killed some of the bad guys.

We have been dealing with yeast with my son for quite some time. My gut is telling me its not so much yeast as it is bacteria. I have witnessed die-off only once and saw a pink faced little boy who was very attentive and aware of his surroundings. Dark circles were gone, stimms were gone. We were at relatives when it happened. I have been racking my brain for months trying to figure it out. His stimms got worse right before it happened. It was like he was plugged in and couldn't stop. He got sick and threw up, just once. That's when something happened. It only lasted a week or so, then everything came back. He takes probiotics and enzymes. Can someone tell me what I can do for the bacteria issue. I know if I can get the bacteria under control my son would be on his way to recovery.

Our son doesn't seem to have any issues with ocd. He is on SCD. That seems to help with some sensory and ocd. It isn't helping with the bacteria issue at all. I have tried strarving him of sugar for months, i even took fruit out of his diet. Just wasn't working. His is taking DMSA right now and that is flaring up the yeast. He has been more irritable too. Dr. seems to think we need to chelate to get out mercury and lead so stomach can finish healing. He tested high for lead and mercury. We have been chelating for only 3 mos. now. No wow moments, but do see some gains. I will definitely try the OLE and GSE. How do children get lyme at such a young age? Can they get it from their mother during gestation?

Our son hasn't been tested for any blood infections. I will mention it to her on our next visit.
