Guest guest
I think there is a hudge difference in levels of sinus damage just as there is in ither organ damages. I take my sinus/brain/eye damage/disease very seriously as I'm pretty sure it will probaly be major component of my death.I have been trying to stress to everyone for quite awhile that even if you dont fell you suffered major sinus damage you need to start takeing special care to keep them clean and avoid ,any irritants and chemicals. the olfactory damage might be at a level where it can still heal for some if they give it a chance to heal. I've tried very hard to stress to newbee's that this is one of the first and most important things you can do to help yourself, washing your sinuses. and even if the damage is beyond repair, it can help with further aggervation of brain effects and the following symptoms. to your RUN,RUN,RUN, I'd add, to the bathroom and wash your sinuses. and maybe the shower if needed. it's not a cure all but may help more than some realize. > > > > > While the complete medical journal article (see link below) stresses the fact that there have only been 15 cases of the exact extreme symptoms, resulting in death, reported since 1968, it would be a good read for all of us who suffer from sinus problems. I am constantly astounded at the " non-emergency " attitude of the postings of our sinus sufferers. Instead of comparing notes on medicines and home remedies, and other people's experiences, I would suggest, based on this article, that you ALL stick your head in A CT Scan or MRI machine, FIRST, before you begin chatting or posting. > > To those of you who will read the article, the word " epistaxis " means nosebleed. > > Joe
