WOW! I am so thankful for the info! I will need to read more on this and research. I should read labels that contain those, I know I switched from using regular sugar to Stevia though. I haven't read this whole thing, but you get the gist.................I was recently told by a Wellness practitioner, that aspartame never leaves your body and one needs to Chelate it out. Just an FYI........

However, it appears that with aspartame, the formaldehyde accumulates in the body as "adducts."

My symptoms which weren't apparent immediately, included the following, weight gain (aggravated, very bad), anxiety, fatigue (a doctor diagnosed me as suffering from CFS) slurred speech, bright flashes in my vison, hives, rashes, allergic reactions (to animal saliva, and plants something I never suffered previously), phobias, insomnia, depression (terrible), confusion, a lack of clarity in thinking, fluid retention (around the waist.)And these are just the symptoms I can remember.
