Guest guest
Hi Donna- I love(d) snow. I love(d) winter. I never had a problem with it all, until this year. Enough seems to be enough. Tonight we " Spring " forward. Seems like a bad joke. I head someone at work Thursday say that in 2 weeks we will have green grass. Apparently he hasn't seen my yard - FULL OF SNOW!! I follow the storms paths through and see that either you and/or Ron will end up with what we had. Only fair to share. :-)) Anyhow, wishing you well. Many hugs- Sandie Des Moines, IA dad, Merle, passed from LBD 9-20-02, age 65 mum, (MIL), Jo, passed from LBD 4-29-07, age 78 -- " Donna Mido " wrote: Speaking of storms, we got the one Tuesday, but missed the one Wed. Doesn't make any difference. they said we would miss this one, and it coming anyway. I never hated snow before this year. It use to be pretty! Re: Re: Ron - question about posting OT Ron- Only a couple inches of snow this time. The storm on Tuesday missed us. Big celebrations! Hopefully Gladys will be able to figure out the posting stuff for you. If I had to go to the group to post, I think I would give it a miss and just read. Glad you don't have pneumonia. That has to be a bit of a relief. All the best to you and your mom. Hoping both of you are on the mend now. It's been a long winter and being sick sure doesn't help. All is well here. Thanks for the well wishes. Guest guest
Hi Sandie, It is snowing here as I type this and its coming down hard. We have had too much snow this year - I hardly know where to put it anymore. If the snow keeps coming down like this I'll have no choice but to start storing it in the house! Guest guest
Sandie, follow those storm paths right up here to Toronto! We're being dumped on once again as I speak. I have found that usually, whatever weather Donna mentions we get shortly after, all the white stuff this winter included! It would be very pretty if one didn't have to shovel! Front end loader guy was dumping snow from around the hydrant right in front of my house yesterday, getting ready for today's onslaught. I had to run out, arms waving, shaking my head " NO " ! I move next month and that is where the truck will need to be to load. He very kindly moved his load farther along the boulevard, then scraped back what had been dumped there last month and dumped it farther along. If no one else deposits there I should be OK now, as long as the cold white stuff stops falling soon. > > Hi everyone.I hope all is well.I have a question.I just have dial > up > > and its quite slow, and with limited time through the day, I want > to > > post more but to post I have to go to the group home page.I used to > be > > able to just post from my email but when I do that now I get a > thing > > from yahoo groups saying they only exept plain text messages.Any > idea > > what the heck I have to do to fix it.I went to my mail settings and > it > > says my outgoing emails are plain text and not html color > graphics. So > > Im totally confused.Could it be my signature its just says Ron.I > will > > try any ideas. Thanks all Ron > > > > > > > > Welcome to LBDcaregivers. > > > > > >
