Guest guest
Possible mold shuts down post office branch in Janesville WKOW-TV.com - Madison,WI* Posted: Aug 13, 2008 http://www.wkowtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=8837467 & nav=menu1362_2 JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- A post office in Janesville is temporarily shut down after a worker became ill. The branch on Main Street, located in Oak Towne Mall, closed yesterday after the postmaster says one of the workers came down with a strange cough. That building had mold damage after the flooding this summer, mostly in the drywall. The building's owner says most of that damage has been cleaned out, but also says there was some concern of mold in the air. So a certified state inspector will return Thursday to test the air If the tests come back clean, the building's owner says the post office could reopen as early as next week. The owner also says none of the other businesses in the building have been affected.
