Guest guest
YES, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...SAM! Hope your chocolate cake is divine! I wish I was visiting again. The Banana Leaf Restaurant serves Maylasian food and it was the best meal of my trip. I came home and found Sambal and recipes to cook up some of those amazing dishes. - Gael, Where are you in Texas?? I am outside of the Austin area. Hope you continue to recover quickly. I did want to report back that a while ago I had complained about my cycle getting off when I was always a 28 day gal. I was taking Rhodiola, an adaptogenic herb for two months prior. I got off it and sure enough my cycles went right back to 28 days. I think the herb did affect my adrenals for sure and then that messed everything all up. I am still playing around with my temps and just last week started on some hydrocortisone cream, around 2.5 mg mid morning. I don't think I have ever really felt something so completely give me energy. A couple of times I added another dose in the late afternoon if I felt a lag and needed to keep going for some reason. It was great. Now the only thing negative is that I have noticed the last few nights, I am not sleeping soundly and have awakened in the night a few times which is very unusual for me. Don't know if it is the cream messing with my cortisol or my college daughters who have been home and kept me up later than usual and helped to screw up my sleep schedule. Going to bed at 11 pm is late for me. I am usually 10 or so. I know I need to order the cortisol test for myself and hubby. Do I have to stop the cream for some time before testing? I also got some IsoCort but have not taken it.
