Guest guest
I called my sister to see if she would keep my mother company Friday night so I could go see my daughter perform in a college production. She emailed me and told me that as a family, they are trying to keep Friday night clear to spend with cousins coming in from out of state for a funeral on Thursday. Then I called my brother-in-law (her husband) to ask him to give us a few hours on Saturday morning to help move Mom's furniture. My sister text messaged me to tell me that he won't be available because he's had a rough week with his cousin's funeral and everything. Well, I'm very sympathetic to his loss, but........... When I have a rough week I don't have the option of taking a morning off. I have to suck it up and keep moving. Also, I think I'm really upset because, as I vented last month, if it wasn't this it would be something else. Have you folks noticed that caregivers are the type of people who take care of their LO first and then fit in whatever life they can around it. The rest of the family lives their lives to the fullest and squeezes in the LO whenever they have a few minutes with nothing better to do. Aaaaargh......... Okay, done venting, off my pity wagon, gotta get movin' got lots to do before the move! Love you all! Gladys
