Guest guest Posted August 11, 2008 Report Share Posted August 11, 2008 Read through the old threads for the one about the studies that show that both the amounts of mold and the risk of catastrophic events that cause flooding, etc, are increasing GLOBALLY as weather gets more extreme. What that means is that the weather where you are may, in a few years, look like the weather does now X miles south of you. With added unpredictability because heat increases entropy or randomness in the system. So, the things like top windspeed recorded at a given location or temperatures might quite possibly go up. That's what I was talking about.. Not some kind of absolution for irresponsibility. If anything, behaving responsibly is MORE IMPORTANT..
