Guest guest
Here is the link to tonight's broadcast - 11 pm on CBS in the metro NYC area. Very cool - especially since the President had to say " no comment " on camera! We had a big win at the legislative meeting - the county lawyer pretty quickly spoke to say that the college (as of yesterday) had hired an environmental consulting firm out of PA to advise them on what to do/testing. They " promised to follow the recommendations of this company " . The legislature has added the topic to a standing committee, so they will follow through and we are making sure that we have the ability to have a 2nd opinion on whatever the findings are. While the bldg was not closed tonight, there is certainly enough out there for workers to ask to be moved if not feeling well - and hopefully they will advocate for themselves. , my mold " partner in crime " , and I are exhausted from this advocacy project - but it has been the right thing to do and we will stay on top of it. But until the next legislative meeting, I'm going to be taking some good care of myself as I'm completely exhausted. I should also mention that I was interviewed on WCBS 880 AM in NY this morning - it aired this afternoon but I haven't heard it...will find it at some point....just too tired now. And for friends and family who I haven't replied to yet - thank you for your messages and voice mails - please know that I'm doing the best that I can to keep up with it all, so your patience is appreciated! http://wcbstv.com/video/?id=114222wcbs (DOT) dayport.com Hugs, Missy
