Guest guest Posted August 12, 2008 Report Share Posted August 12, 2008 Many countries basically ban mold. If you can look inside a cavity and see mold, it is REQUIRED to be removed. Canada, for example. Mold inside of walls is often extremely dangerous - for example, stachybotrys often grows inside of walls in mats. The spores stay attached, they don't reveal themselves.
