Guest guest
They go on to say that as little as 4 teaspoons of vinegar in a vinaigrette dressing (4 teaspoons vinegar and 2 teaspoons oil) taken with an average meal lowered blood sugar by as much as 30 percent. If so, this is a very remarkable effect. Hey I think I'll try that. What can it hurt? After all, I've tried just about everything else. I might as well try the chewing gum also. I have nothing to lose but BGs and weight. Right? Love, Tootie Quotes from another list

For example, the book suggests vinegar, lemon juice, acidic fruits, and sourdough bread. The book states (pg. 43) that " [w]ithin the last few years, several reports in the scientific literature have indicated that a realistic amount of vinegar or lemon juice in the form of a salad dressing consumed with a mixed meal has significant blood sugar lowering effects. " Unfortunately, the authors have, provided no references for this statement. TNF-alpha is a cytokine released in increased amounts in inflammatory and infectious conditions, including cancer. Formerly called cachectin, TNF-alpha is associated with the muscle wasting caused by such conditions and also found in aging. The basal levels of TNF-alpha are derived from adipocytes (fat cells) and its plasma levels are correlated with fat mass in animals and humans. New studies have found TNF-alpha to have direct effects upon the development of insulin resistance. ================== These and other articles related to modifying your diet and lifestyle may be found at: www.lifeservices.com > ================== And here is one of the answers from another member of the list that I particularly enjoyed: <Soooo then it looks like we need a Vinegar flavored chewing gum to maximize weight loss.
