Lowes carries a paint that is also zero VOC (the guy in the store let me smell it too! It was completely odor-less-I was impressed). I can't remember the Lowe's products name but go into the store and ask. I used a paint primer-it was almost zero VOC and was great-they have a special section with these paints. Don't let the salesman tell you " they are all the same " . They don;t understand the whole VOC thing and just want to sell. But the paint was practically odorless and I used it in a closet and a ceiling of a room and did not suffer. > Does anyone have any suggestions for low VOC paint primers? > > This is to go over regular drywall.. >
Guest guest
I have used low VOC and did not get as much relief as I thought I would. I have since done more research and found out that Auro makes natural primers that are not hard on the system like these others. It is less with Low VOC but they are still there. So I guess it depends what your tolerance and health issues are.
