Guest guest
In other words, he has his tongue outside of his mouth a lot. Does that make sense? Any ideas as to what is causing this and what supplements might help? TIA~Christy

Guest guest
My son is doing this too. He is already at the max for both of these. With this happening to many of us at around the same time could it be the change in season? Could it be a response to common allergies? Because my allergies have been way up about the same time as his licking started? Just a thought. Does anyone know what to give a child for common allergies like pollen and such? I would at least like to try and see. I just dont know what to give to a 4 yr old for basic allergies. > > > > > > In other words, he has his tongue outside of his mouth a lot. Guest guest
my son just started doing this.. I thought maybe b/c he came down with strep throat this wknd and the behavior correlated, but someone mentioned parasites and we are using Paradex 2 x a day also, so I suppose this could be part of the issue also? -- In mb12 valtrex , " Handley " wrote: > > A friend of mine swears by quercetin. Guest guest
My son did that when he had a virus coming on. He did it for about 6 months, on and off when he had a virus. I treated with Elderberry, Temp Assure and/or Equinacea/Astragalus. I think it must have been a very specific virus because ever since he stopped doing that a few months back, he has come down with other cold/virus but that behavior has not returned. Guest guest
I got to think more about this and wanted to make an amendment to my own post. I do believe this licking (at least in my son) was yeast related brought on by a virus. At the same time the behavior faded, I had introduced raw goat's milk yogurt made with VSL#3 and Sac. Boulardii. We had been doing probiotics for 18 months w/o much success but culturing them in the yogurt has worked well for us. > > My son did that when he had a virus coming on.
