Gladys,

That is the first thing Mom wanted of me when she had her first big episode. I

told her I couldn't help her to end her life, but I could take care of her.

I think many of our LOs don't want to live if they have to go through this

disease. It is hard on everyone.

Hope you find an MD. from 's list.

I didn't put Mom on Meds as she didn't have PD. And she had been on BP pills

and Thyroid. But she over reacted to most anything else our GP put her on. So

we just struggled with sleep. But she didn't like meds anyway.

Hope you get some help.

Hugs,

Donna R

Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in

a nh.

She was almost 89 when she died in '02. No dx other than mine.

Norma or anyone in the NY Metropolitan Area

I need a referral to a New York area doctor who has a lot of expertise with

LBD. Mom's doctor is an internist and a very good man but he just doesn't

know enough about this and I think we could be doing much better with her

meds. I want to get her to someone ASAP.

Mom and I had a long talk this morning about how this isn't going to get any

better. My heart breaks for her. She wants to be in Heaven with my Dad and

be done with all of this, but I fear that she has a long way to go yet.

This is just torture for her.

She was so physically active up until about 2 years ago. She does not want

to live like this and there is nothing I can do to help her.
