The roughly 70 staff members who work at the facility will be given paid administrative leave and allowed to stay home all next week, KDHE spokeswoman Maggie said today. KDHE Secretary Rod Bremby said the agency would contact those staff members once it had more information. said a team from the State Department of Labor and an independent specialist from out of state would perform a thorough assessment of the building, where preliminary samples that have been taken were found to be positive for mold.
