Bill,

Somebody must really be afraid of me. The game just got a little more

interesting. The gist or spin of the matter is now three fold:

1. Prior healthy people do not become ill from mold exposure in water

damaged buildings.

2. Mrs. Kramer is crazy. Don't listen to what she says about the science of

ACOEM.

3. Even the courts have found that what Mrs. Kramer says is libelously

wrong. (They forget that I won against VeriTox)

What a terrible thing to do to your fellow man - allow them to become ill

because you want the medical community kept ignorant of a public health

threat...and all for sake of money.

I wholeheartedly recognize this is not a game. People's lives, health and

finances are at stake. But, if it is a game they want, then okay, I will play.

And again, here is my position:

I don't see how they can try to say that high levels of mold don't make

previously healthy people unhealthy. There are a myriad different situations

in which they do, and have been proven to do just that. They also

immunocompromise people.

The most common drug that creates immunosuppression, cyclosporin, is based

on a mycotoxin. In fact, it IS a mycotoxin. (a version of it occurs in some

strains of stachybotrys)

FR901459, a novel immunosuppressant, has been isolated from the fermentation

broth of Stachybotrys chartarum No. 19392. The molecular formula of FR901459

was determined as C62H111N11O13. FR901459 was found to be a member of the

cyclosporin family. However, it is structurally distinct from any other

cyclosporins discovered so far, in that Leu is present at position 5 instead

of Val. FR901459 was capable of prolonging the survival time of skin

allografts in rats with one third the potency of cyclosporin A.

FK-506, a novel immunosuppressant, has been isolated from the fermentation

broth of Streptomyces tsukubaenis No. 9993 as colorless prism and the

molecular formula was determined as C44H69NO12.H2O. The compound suppressed

immune responses in vitro and in vivo with mice. This immunosuppressive

effect was more potent than that of ciclosporin.

also, please see RELATED ARTICLES from for MANY more from this very

productive lab in Japan... Which of these MANY mycotoxins should people test

for? How expensive would that be at $200 a pop?

the one thing they all have in common is immunosuppression.. also,

cytotoxicity (killing living cells)

Good luck!

ImmunoSUPPRESSING drugs may compromize some patients in hospitals and

allow fungal colonization, weither they bounce back or not after the

immunosuppressing drugs are stopped well depend on immune function

before and afterwards. while you are exposed, you are basicly

colonized, and the higher the dose the less time you have to get out,

when the level is so high it makes you leave, take that as a warning

to stay out. luckily if we get out soon enough that our immune system

and liver are still somewhat funtional we will servive, just what

kind of life it leaves us with depends on how much damage it's done

to our systems and organs.

Jill,

What is your point regarding Ed McMahon?

First of all, who said he was obsessed with mold? You cannot use

Heimpel as a legitimate source of news. Hundreds of journalists, scientists,

and

experts have proved his article was yellow journalism and scientifically and

journalistically invalid.

Second, Comparing mold to a strange religion demonstrates your lack of

knowledge on ongoing research and advances about this important topic in

medicine

and science.

It also demonstrates, yet again, a strange denialist hatred found in bitter,

uneducated individuals somehow trying to avoid or delay the topic of mold in

indoor environments.

Good news is you are too late to block research with lies. The general

scientific consensus is evidenced by the article in the August 11th, Newsweek.

Mold exposure is undergoing research all over the world, and the consensus is

growing among the top scientists and researchers as to inflammatory

response, toxigenic response, and disease response to damp buildings.

Take a look at :youtube dot com/watch?v=xMwkoT8b0qg

Ed already lost enough you judgemental ignorant putz. Go make fun of someone

with an autistic kid, or pneumonia or diabetes. Go yell at these people about

their illness and blame them for being in a weird diabetes religion or

autism religion. I dare you.

Quackadillan,

They definitely took the trial date into account. I have saved emails in

early July where Heimpel is telling me it will be out in Sept. I reply that

the trial is mid-August. Three days later, I get a response back that they

decided to move the publication date up.

Sharon,

These days the journalism profession is in a state of shock, because

so many magazines and newspapers are folding or being bought up by

conglomerates like New Times that often slash jobs. Journalists are

losing their jobs on a massive scale. They are often in terrible

situations, in terms of their careers because of this.. They need to

stay employed or they can't reenter the field.. the competition is

incredible..

I had a roommate once at least 20 years ago, (when times were better

for them!) who was a reporter for a local newspaper and even then,

talk about low paid, stressful jobs, that was one.

His family was helping him - they were paying his rent and car and

health insurance, that was the only way he could survive and be a

journalist..

Now, even worse than then, many newspapers pay wages that are barely

above minimum wage!! Its a RARE newspaper job that pays enough to

raise a family on. (only city papers that are unionized..) And the

competition is fierce.. many people will work for free.. (they call it

interning) for years.. Thats an ugly situation..

And Internet media are putting huge pressure on their ad sales.. its

not a pretty picture..

So, basically, they are less and less willing to put their necks on

the cutting block by disagreeing with their publishers, nomatter what

the facts in the matter are, they often have kids, mortgages, etc.

Obviously, since they were publishing that as a cover story and

following the court case SO closely, time wise, (Quite possibly they

had already decided how to spin it, nomatter what happened, and I

doubt strongly if you would EVER have been given a shred of kindness

by them, Sharon, even if you had won the case hands down, they would

still have tried to make you seem like the devil incarnate in any way

they could.)

The mold issue threatens the " transformation " of urban America that

they are banking on.. because it demands that homes be fixed, instead

of torn down or replaced by uber-expensive condos.. the new face of

urban America as a theme park for the yuppies and trustafarians and

just plain wealthy..

Gas prices are going up and city real estate's value is going up with

them.. Vast stretches of Suburbia are becoming too expensive to

commute from.. and are in decline.. The rich are snapping up city

apartments, often as pied-à-terres to live in part time.. In order for

that to happen on a large scale, poor people have to leave.. Mold is

an effective tool to encourage/(discourage? sicken!) people who can

leave into leaving.. and to make people sick so they can't afford the

rent and have to leave..
