Thank you so much. I feel very welcome here. I have a found a few other Down

Syndrome groups at Cafemom.com. They do not talk to each other like this one.

Re: I am new to this group

Hi , Welcome to the group. I have a little girl who is 5 also.

She is the joy of our lives too. Hailey has had eating issues since

birth. She has sensory issues and they say it is a texture thing with

her. At the moment there are about 5 things she will eat. Its really

hard to deal with at times. But we get by. She also has severe ADHD and

DS maybe MDS. She is mildly autistic and has SID. She is very active

and very funny. I almost cant get on to her when she miss behaves

because she turns around and makes this funny face at me when she knows

she is in trouble. I have to turn and walk away....I still make her do

what ever it was I started but I have to hide my face so she doesnt see

me laughing. She is a little mess. Oh well once again welcome and enjoy

all the wonderful ladies in here as I have. Its never a dull moment in

here. Its great. The ladies are great and funny too.

I also belong to cafemom and I agree there is not nearly as much information

there as there is here. I only go on there and post if I find something

interesting. Although the moms on there did help me find this group when

Isabella was first diagnosed. We are all glad you found this group.
