Guest guest
Answer the questions anyway and let Kelman's attorney object. The jury will hear what you have to say and that is what matters.
Guest guest
Sharon, Make sure you keep notes of what they do. After its all over, the ways these shysters are addressing this might represent a very important and useful look for the commmunity into the denial camp's main weapon, which seems to be an information blockade, not unlike the information blockade around China, for example. It seems almost as if they might be trying to block or stamp out things that don't agree with their viewpoint. The deniers and trivializers out there intuitively know that any real debate might easily and blatantly expose that the issue is a very complex one, not at all like they say, and its also one that dramatically hurts people, but mostly poor, voiceless people. People without power in courts. So they might well do anything to avoid that debate on their own motives or the science. Biy, I wouldn't want to be in their shoes! This strategy could easily backfire... So, even though perhaps they are trying to make this simply about raw power and coercion. They probably didn't count on your bringing it all out into the open. There is another court, the court of public opinion. These types rarely do realize how they may look when their strongarm tactics are exposed Its not what they are used to, they tend to operate behind the scenes in part because the cronyism they often represent is basically corruption.. its ugly.. and it represents a side of America that many would prefer to think doesn't exist. Guest guest
why was there a different Judge? did someone request it? or did the other one have a conflict? > > Dear All, > > Thank all of you who sent words of support yesterday. Guest guest
That is the main problem in these cases they they try to get so much thrown out. I pray that Sharon's lawyers know how to stop these tactics. You go in thinking that the truth will set you free and so much of the time you don't get to tell the entire story. So many judges don't get it. Wonder if some how the court house in Miami and Ft Lauderdale can be mentioned where that judge passed away and many people were getting sick at work. It might not be related but then it is about mold and the facts being denied to everyone including court houses. I am not sure of all the details that are aloud in the case but there could be some sympathy since it was a court house. Just a thought. > > Dear All, > > Thank all of you who sent words of support yesterday. Greatly appreciated. > > This trial stuff is pretty weird business if you ask me. Guest guest
I am assuming that your attorney has requested a dvd of the trial. DVD's are better than written transcript, as you can " see " and hear the responses. Here in Vegas you get a copy of the DVD at the end of the day. Makes it easy to " review " it and see by body language what they are uncomfortable about etc. Then going back and revisiting the " hot " responses. Guest guest
What do you mean you can't answer question? I don't get that. Guest guest
yes, its par for the course. Is it at all surprising? Its certainly fits the pattern as I see it. Guest guest
Can you record the trial? I have an MP3 player that in a pinch can record somethung like 20 continuous hours of audio.. it was $50 since it uses flash memory, its is completely silent.. no tape noise at all.. Do it... just for your own memory.. They are so small you can keep it in a pocket and nobody will know. We would like to hear what went down... or you could transcribe it... Guest guest
You have to have the judges position and it is too late for that. Forgive me for answering for Sharon, but I know she is tied up with the trial and these were questions I knew the answer to. > > Can you record the trial? Guest guest
This is very common in mold-related cases. Remember, the goal of the insurance industry is to keep the truth from coming out. And, they have billions of dollars to use toward this goal. They are following the same strategy that was used by the tobacco companies to hide the truth about tobacco for 50 years. [] Update from the OK Corral Dear All, Thank all of you who sent words of support yesterday. Greatly appreciated. This trial stuff is pretty weird business if you ask me. We did not even get far enough to pick a jury yesterday. There is a BUNCH of stuff Kelman wants kept out of this libel suit. Like the Wall Street Journal article, all of my published writings, my advocacy work in DC. Senator Kennedy's GAO audit request. And all the groups that are supporting the need for a Congressional hearing into the conflicts of interest of the matter. The judge does not appear to be getting it as to why I wrote the phrase " altered his under oath statements " PLURAL " statements " . She is focusing on one alliteration, which is exactly what Kelman wants her to do. We got a brand new judge yesterday. She knew virtually nothing of the case other than what she has read from prior rulings. VeriTox does not want to go into the science one iota. If you were a scientists who was claiming your reputation had been defamed, wouldn't you want to go into the science? I am going to have a hard time explaining to the jury why Kelman was waffling when describing the relationship of ACOEM and the US Chamber of Commerce paper when forced to discuss them together in front of a jury without going into his little feat of scientific magic. You can read his testimony in question and my press release here. _http://moldwarriors .com/SK/index. htm_ (http://moldwarriors .com/SK/index. htm) The judge may not get why he was " altering his under oath statements " , but I know all of you do. So we are not going to discuss Kelman's " science " aka " marketing " . So it is going to be very weird when I get on the witness stand. How do I answer questions for the jury of why Kelman was altering without being able to answer questions? We will see what today brings. ...C'est la vie! Guest guest
Good luck Sharon, I know what you mean regarding wanting to say it all. Save it for your book or movie deal. I have been discouraged lately with all my water problems but I will say prayers tonight. Everyone is usually in my prayers but haven't said them for a week or so.
