Guest guest
My son has Mosaic Down Syndrome and does not say but maybe 6 words. He is 5 years old. Do any of you have this problem with your child? I was told teaching him sign language might help. He would then be able to tell us where he hurts and what is wrong with him. He is so stubborn. I have to strap his arms down to brush his teeth for 2 minutes. He has a texture problem. He will only eat certain 3rd stage foods. He is constantly on the move. He goes to preschool. We do not think he is ready for kindergarten so we held him back for another year of preschool. We are going to be working on potty training starting Monday the 23rd. His father can not help that much because he works from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and does not get home until midnight. Fridays and Saturdays he works until midnight and does not get home until 1:00 a.m. He does not get to spend much time with the boys. He only has one day off a week.
