Guest guest
Dr Zeims protocol, its not a cure but it turns it down. This protocol is the most recommended by the U of Washingtons Moleculor science dept. Key Pharmacy out of Kent Washington. I'm sure someone in this group can post that fun info again. Highly recommend it. Its not a cure but it does help. Here's to feeling better! a
Guest guest
Have you tried Lamisil? I had some of the same problems that you do. I tried many things over several years including other antifungals and eventually ended up on Lamisil. I didn't think it would work since nothing else had helped, so I was very surprised that Lamisil worked. The best part is that my cognitive problems have improved. [] Re: serching for Holy Grail-no more reactions I thought I posted this before-but could not even find it in sent mail- Does anyone have any hope for not just a full recovery-but to prevent more reactions??. My life has been a decent into hell ,more and more sensitization to mold-now 2 mold spores rubbing together make me very sick-I have been mostly living out of doors for the last 2 years-and am now in the desert. I can get better by living outside and taking CSM, but I can't seem to stay that way-whenever I try to live inside-even in totally clean and new environments- sooner or later something goes wrong. Extreme avoidence is my total life-style. I finally have a great Dr=PHD in Mycology-and he understands Shoemaker-he can re-grow your liver or toes with his ALA infusions and low-dose Naltrexone- glutithione, but stoping these reactions from continuing seems to be impossible. I told him about ThraserPHD idea that a active colinization in the body causing continued reactions-and he did alot of tests-I am clean. He is willing to try anything? does anyone have a DR who has a clue???????? ??

Guest guest
I was exposed to numerous molds and mycotoxins in my home. I was diagnosed with mycotoxicosis and toxic encephalopathy and have suffered other health problems due to my exposure. Guest guest
Maybe 's blood tests weren't done correctly or maybe her blood wasn't sent to a lab that knows how to do the right tests. There are only a few labs in the country who have the ability to do these tests. As for me, my story takes place over several years. It took a long time and lots of wasted time on many doctors who refused to help. I spent a lot of time reading and researching and talking to people on my own. I had lots of blood tests and other medical tests (Xrays, CT Scans, etc.). It would take forever to explain how I finally got to the Lamisil and everything that happened prior to that. I was so surprised that Lamisil worked for me that I just wanted to let other people know about it in case it would work for them.

Guest guest
Sure, living outdoors you are going to avoid indoor air, and any possible concentration of indoor air contaminants.. Indoor concentrations can be much higher.. Not just of mold, there are a million things in modern buildings that can make people sick if they don't get enough fresh air. But I personally think mold is one of the worst.. because of the long term effects on so many different systems.. Outdoors nothing is confined. Outdoors, even in hot, humid climates, the humidity rarely reaches the levels you can get inside of a *closed* wall cavity.. (99%!) or a closed-up building with a leak.. (That closed, wet wall cavity is a super dangerous situation, because its extremely high humidity situations i.e. > 80% - where mycotoxin production is highest..) But I don't understand what you're saying about being sick out of doors if you were " colonized " .. (mycosis? aspergillosis? candidaisis? Other mycotic infection?) Mold hypersensitivity means you get sick from the molds (or MVOCs associated with them) - You can get sick outside from mold " in the air " .. Just ask the people in nonflooded neighborhoods of New Orleans after Katrina.. I got sick last fall after walks in some particularly leafy (moldy!?) woods.. Driving through a recently flooded town can make me ill.. Guest guest
ok-i do too! but can anyone explain this to me-mold is more my problem, and I thought that near the ocean or beach is the worst! Guest guest
how do you find that out? I've been tested for my sensitivity to a variety of different molds in one test I took and there wasn't one I wasn't off the charts sensitive to. Is this the type of test you mean? > From: who <jeaninem660@...> > Subject: [] Re: serching for Holy Grail-no more reactions > > Date: Wednesday, August 20, 2008, 6:10 PM > Michal , if you know which types of mold affect you > bad you may > be able to find out by state which molds are most prevelent > and at what > times of the year, maybe set something up where you can > move back and > forth .? > > > > ok-i do too! but can anyone explain this to me-mold is > more my > problem, and I thought that near the ocean or beach is the > worst! > Should I be looking there? Guest guest
A metal boat out in the middle of the ocean might be good, or sleeping on the beach.. But whenever wood or gypsum wallboard gets involved...and they just add water... Ocean air is fresh.. better than air from moldy leaves, thats for sure.. Are the rental buildings well maintained? Free of leaks? What is their repair history? A tip.. always try to look in the basement..
Guest guest
Isn't that all mold types, toxinogenic, non-toxinogenic, allergic, etc. all lumped together? So, combined spore counts show less than I think we would hope.. Also, many asp/pen species are too small, and stachybotrys can be growing happily and not shed practically any spores..
