Hi Kay, I understand what you are experiencing. I'm in real estate in Florida, in a market that's crashing and I must pay $490/mo. medical insurance plus huge co-pays. My out of pocket medical expenses including my insurance payments, cost me over $15,000.00 out of my pocket in '08. This disease is eating up all my savings. For the first time in my life, I can't wait to be older to be on Medicare. Just one more year and hopefully, it will still be in existence! I have been taking VFend ($3,000/mo. without insurance) (my copay is $70.00) for 4 months, in addition to all the nebs and osteoporosis meds that I must take every month. Each month my liver enzymes are monitored. For 2 months, they rose, then went back to normal, and now they are high again. Since they are elevated, my Primary Dr. is going to consult with my Infectious Disease Dr., regarding

this recent result. I think it best to stop at this point as I have improved from my bout with aspergillus, pneumonia and a collapsed lung in November. Has anyone else had experience with elevated liver function blood tests while on VFend? Would like to hear from you if you did. Thank you. Eileen-FLericnkayn@... wrote: Thanks. I actually live in northern Calif now, but love Oregon. No "plan" in CA except medical for low income people. Since I'm

sixty my husband and I pay $930/mo for our health insurance, plus hefty co-payments. The construction industry is poor right now and this is getting very hard for us to afford. Good luck to you.
