Guest guest
Rain delays school mould clean-up ABC Online - Australia* http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/09/01/2351706.htm The mould clean-up at the Wodonga Senior Secondary College has been set back because of rain at the weekend. The toxic mould discovery nearly two weeks ago, forced the closure of the school's two main buildings and the cancellation of classes for 600 students. Last week, most students returned to the school but the year 12s were bussed to the Wodonga TAFE for classes. All students were expected back on campus today, but principal MacLean says because of the delay, year 12 classes will continue at the TAFE. " We had been advised by the contractors that we would have the front wing all cleaned and signed off but due to the rain we had some problems with water leaking under the building, so consequently they couldn't dry it and therefore they can't sign it off as clean, " he said.
