Hi - There is a whole scandal surrounding soy and its' production.  It may not

be the big health food that we have been " fed " - there is an excellent little

video, among the sales pitch that is well worth watching.

I have watched this video and don't agree with it. My daughter was on

soy formula for two years and was one of the healthiest children in

my family, at her daycare, in school and with all the children I used

to work with at my job. She rarely got sick when every one else would

come down with the yearly colds, flu, etc. It was a God-send because

she was unable to have milk-based formula (we are extremely lactose

intolerant). My nephews who were all on milk-based formula are always

sick and have weak immune systems. I believe the soy helped my

daughter build up a strong immune system and she is almost fifteen

now and, other than the fact that we got exposed to mold, I believe

she would still not have ever been sick. And, to this day, I have not

seen any long term adverse health effects.

However, like with everything else, I don't believe you should use an

excess amount.

But, like with most things, perhaps, with some people there could be

those who should not use it.

I went to a naturopath about 2 months ago and she has healed me more than my

environmental/lung specialist and other drs - and one of the key things she told

me is that women should not have soy! I stopped using it and again, along with

the kinisiology and other foods she removed from my diet, and the supplements

she is giving me to detox - I feel so much better - while I am not ever

expecting to be the " same " as before....I am reacting much more slowly to many

triggers of my Multiple chem sensitivity.
