This is a great one, Sam! Thanks! I found it interesting about the salt.

"Nutrition oriented advisors may suggest using a small amount of sea salt, but in the larger amounts that hypoadrenocortics need, too many trace minerals may be taken in. The name trace minerals means one should have only a trace of them. The main minerals, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron, iodine, and zinc are needed in larger amounts. Diamond Crystal Kosher salt is plain sodium chloride without additives. When dissolved in water, it results in a clear solution indicating no additives."

I wonder what this means?

"One should exercise, involving the adrenal area"

I jump on my trampoline for a couple of mins each day. I'm thinking this is an adrenal exercise.

Liz

On one of the top docs lists I saw the name of one of my worst endos. Let me tell ya I contacted the keeper of the list and gave him/her an earful and a half... Say, I came across an interesting adrenal article this morning in my search for more adrenal gland/sex hormones connection info: http://www.fred.net/slowup/hai96.html Here's a quote: "The adrenals have a close connection with the sex glands. They produce about 25% of the female sex hormone in women and 65% of the male hormone in the man." Pretty interesting, eh? Sam :) > >> > My thoughts on Isocort? I was thinking an adrenal exercise would be to insert little dinky

barbells in the general area where my adrenal glands were and tell them to

start lifting weights. hahaha

That salt thing is a bit mystifying to me, too. I'm thinking it's advising

against unprocessed sea salt or something, however I do know that stuff is

pretty good for us.
