Guest guest
Nothing to sneeze at: Wyndham looks to lure travelers with allergies The Star-Ledger,NJ* by The Star-Ledger Business Desk Wednesday August 06, 2008 Dust, mold and other pesky allergans, you're checking out. http://www.nj.com/business/index.ssf/2008/08/nothing_to_sneeze_at_wyn dham_l.html Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is starting a " CleanAir " campaign to designate 10 percent of its rooms as allergy-free zones by the end of 2009. The Parsippany-based hotel chain plans to use a system developed by Pure Solutions of Buffalo to remove 98 percent of nose- twitching, eye-burning allergans. Walls, carpets and bedding will be treated with a microbe-trapping shield, and rooms will be outfitted with what the hotelier calls a " medical-grade air purification system. " Eight hotels currently use the technology, including the Wyndham Princeton Forrestal Hotel and Conference Center in New Jersey. " As travelers continue to focus on wellness, we're excited to offer ClearAir Rooms as a healthy amenity for Wyndham guests and meeting attendees, " Strebel, president of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, said in a statement.
