Guest guest
Jan- It is just a way of life here. Some winters are mild, some are harsh. This seems like a long winter. Even on the days when it's not snowing we will have colder than normal temps. Today I am happy to say the thermometer shows 31 and it's sunny. A nice day here in Des Moines. Only problem with today that I have found is we are hearing ice from the roof. Went outside to investigate and found icicles falling from the roof so I was dodging ice. Don't want to report a missing eye due to an icicle. Jan, that is what I did with you message. For some reason Yahoo thought you were spam. I got so rattled with the weather, I pushed delete instead of approve. I am so sorry. It is the first time I ever did that. Your neck of the woods sounds lovely. Peaceful and sunny. So very glad you and Jim were able to get out and enjoy a picnic. We will here, too, someday. Give us May or so and we will have consistent nice weather. One bonus here...have 4X4 - will travel! Hugs to you- Sandie Donna R Re: Re: - Donna -Storms OT/S You are a tough breed of people. I wouldn't know how to live in the snow. It is sunny and Spring like here, all the blossoms are out on the trees. People are taking off for the mountains to see snow before it melts away. Jim and I sat outside at the nh and had a picnic yesterday. I am glad I can get him outside again from that germ ridden facility. I hope you see Spring soon, but I hope you don't float away in the flooding. One problem follows another.
