Jeanine, how tight a filter have you used on box fans? I saw mostly

MERV 8 but they had some tighter looking ones without MERV ratings on

them. I'm sure I could find a MERV 10 if I looked harder.

it was not the v type, just the more loose regular type, if you use the

v type it may be better to attach it to the front side. ? also, those

can be cut, wires and all, a little hard on the scissors but I've done

it before.
