Guest guest
We always hear how people who were exposed to lots of mold got cancer. Many of them die, but the medical gatekeepers like the ACOEM claim that there is no 'proof' that mold causes disease even though there IS proof that hypersensitization to mold dooms one to a lifetime of chronic inflammation. They seem to think that is irrelevant. The statute of limitations for mold-related lawsuits is typically short. The time between when somebody is exposed to a toxin, like a carcinogen or a poison of other kinds, and the development of disease can be long. The time for the discovery of a cancer can be long. I think this paper talks about a correlation that represents an important aspect of these issues. Guest guest
What an incredible resource. They appear to have long standing authority on the cause and effect of inflammation, zeroed in for many diseases. I saw a connect between liver cancer and asgpergillus fungus. Thanks to the original poster! A sleuth indeed! > > chronic inflamation, role in cancer > > http://caonline.amcancersoc.org/cgi/content/full/56/2/69 > > > > >

This is so true! How about we all chronicle those we know with mold exposures and how long it took them to be diagnosed with conventional diagnoses? One friend exposed to mold now has full blown lupus ...11 years later Another friend exposed to mold has severe MS...seven years later Anyone else want to document their own or friends' diagnoses and how long it took before the chronic inflammation /toxins took their toll? Guest guest
I had to educate my doctor and my lawyer. Thank God, my doctor had seen me in robust health and then, not. That I was a long-term patient, gave me credibility. It is often what you cannot see that hurts you. But, that said, the docs have to probe more to find out what is wrong with you. It is their job. I had to educate my lawyer as well. I used stuff I wrote, stuff I researched and charts from Aerotech to teach them all. You have to risk looking and feeling like an idiot to make your point. Especially if they have been " programmed " to take the other point of view. You can't be shy or afraid. If your doc is afraid, they are not the right one for you. Same for the lawyer. > > your welcome ginloi. Guest guest
the damage happens while your exposed, what happens afterwards is the result of the damage and not getting proper diagnoses and medical care. > > The time between when somebody is exposed to a toxin, like a > carcinogen or a poison of other kinds, and the development of disease > can be long. > > This is so true! Guest guest
there was a book that a lawyer wrote some time around 2002-3, cant remember, about mold exposure and law suits,I thought it was to help and acrually located him and talked to him and was told that mold just doesn't hurt people. he claimed that many lawyers, judges, ect. had bought his book. he was in texas, thats about all I remember. mold litigation or something like that was the name of the book. really nice that he wrote a book on something that he obviously didn't have a clue about. > > your welcome ginloi. Guest guest
A similar connection exists between simple inflammation and arthritis So, it has pretty much been proven that if mold causes inflammation and if inflammation causes arthritis, then mold to a great extent causes arthritis.. also atherosclerosis... (sp.) and so on.. Thats the big hidden story here.. In fact, may quite possibly be that mold inflammation is perhaps the most common and widespread driving force behind a great many " illnesses of aging " . Of course, since they effect so many people, this connection becomes hard to prove statistically, UNTIL you manage to remove the mold from enough people's environment so that you can see the clear difference statistically. Whch is beginning to happen now.
