Guest guest
Hello all, We just recently saw a gastroenteroligist for our son Mark due to constant loose stools. He suggested we try Lactaid milk. He is 16 now and the problem started about a year ago. Well we tried it and he is much better. I give him Lactaid tablets crushed up if he wants to have ice cream. It has helped him tremendously.
Guest guest
, Yes we buy boxed soy at this health food store. Food Lion also carries it. What a difference it has made. She was on Nutramigen for the longest time. Pediasure did not wwork, it gave her diarrhea. So whole milk worked at the time. We were on night feeds until 3 years ago. Glad to be off of that. Guest guest
Michele, This is a great discussion of information regarding milk and the associated problems. It reminded me that at a conference I attended this Fall put on by Environmental Medicine professionals (who seem to have a lot of insight into allergies in general) that there is a new enzyme product available or coming out soon that is going to be a significant help for milk and wheat problems. It won't allow a person to just eat these products all the time if they are intolerant, but it will allow them to have small amounts that are eaten sometimes without knowing it (as when someone assures you there is no wheat or milk in their gift of food and it turns out to have some) or to eat the products in a very limited way. I will dig out the information on the product and then post it to the list. I am still so curious about enzymes in CHARGERs.
