using an EPA in the UK .........advice and assistance please

Are there any UK members able to offer advice on using EPA both

unregistered and registered

As it will take 35 days to register it theres a few things I need to

try and do first before big problems ensue

My Mother gets worse by the day and she is screwing up finances

Hi,

I've recently got EPA for my dad. Can empathise with the rush to get

it sorted. Don't know what big problems you worried about though. I

think some people have used the document before it's registered and

been Ok with it. Different institutions seem to have different

understandings of it, and different ideas about what

evidence/confirmation of it they need. One thing I did whilst waiting

for it to go through was get third party on dad's bank account. That

helped avert some difficult situations.
