Among others, L. Mottron takes the same dim view of French psychiatry,

and the French government's proposals about autism. But France merely

is *among* the worst in it's stance, not the only "bad" country by any

means. Bad as many places and situations are in the US, many many other

places throughout the world are far worse.

[The original of this response to was sent four hours ago - still
