There is nothing I can do for Millie.

If she chooses to hang around for whatever reason, that is her business.

If she is still alive in the morning, then the middle son will take

another day with her.

If she needs a dark room and no visitors to get on with the task at

hand, so be it!

Her life insurance is paid so she has another year if need be!

There is nothing else this damned disease can take from her, although

it has a mind of its own.

I hate not to have closure as I walk out the door, but Millie has

always done things her own way.

Maybe some angels will stop by as soon as I leave!
