Guest guest
We are battling this too! It started with my NT daughter (she's 8) this summer. She had two small bumps that were 'frozen' off in the doctors office. The molluscum promptly fell off as intended. Then my ASD son (he's 4)developed a couple spots on his back. Our pediatrician from UCD 'froze' these off successfully with liquid nitrogen, but then they started popping up on his arms and his pelvic area, and more on his back. He has far too many to be 'frozen' off. I've tried homeopathic wart treatments, but nothing is helping. I'm going to start him on Acyclovir and Ketoconazol for a general anti- viral therapy - for the molluscum and other high viral titers. I read online that combining Acyclovir with Isoprinosine can be effective against Molluscum. I was hesitant to order the latter, b/c it's not FDA approved, but was eventually convinced of it's safety. I ordered it from www.life-extension-drugs.com and am awaiting deliver. I'll let you know how this treatment goes. Please let me know how you decide to treat it. > > Has any one tried Molluscum Rx to treat Molluscum Contagiousum? >
Guest guest
My son had a terrible case of this a few years ago, and the dermatologist treatments just caused it to spread. (It is said to be particularly troublesome for kids with eczema, as my son had.) I found a product online called Silvercure, and it worked exactly as advertised in three weeks. What we had battled for four months was gone in three weeks flat. Now my younger son has shown up with a much milder case. We started the silvercure for him two weeks ago. It seems to be working, but I have not been as diligent about the twice daily applications. I am hoping in the next week to see some major improvements. I highly recommend the product based on my first son's results. It was developed by a grandfather MD who was appalled by the lack of effectiveness of traditional treatments when his granddaughter was suffering from it. Google Rebuilder Medical or Silvercure. > > > > Has any one tried Molluscum Rx to treat Molluscum Contagiousum? > > >
Guest guest
http://www.molluscum.com/ The above is a link to the product. I forgot to mention that I did not buy the $150 kit. Ask if they have a " starter kit " you can try with just 2 jars of the ointment, soap (I got liquid soap), the liquid bandage and the Silver spray. That's all we ever needed and I think it's around $70. They don't advertise it anymore, but since we got it the first time a few years ago, they were willing to resell that same package to us at a slightly increased price. > > > > > > Has any one tried Molluscum Rx to treat Molluscum Contagiousum? > > > > > >
