This little boy was so sick could not get up off couch . No interest

in anything He has missed all therapies ect. too sick he is a

veryviral child we were terrified.

Now at this date he has shown such improvement.!!!

We took him off all DAN protocol now on a antiviral. Still a long

road ahead. We feel good about Dr. Goldberg we feel now we are on

the right path for this child to finally get healthy & enjoy life.

Pull HHV1-6 titers and yes, if you can get your doc to do it, get 7 & 8 although I'm not sure how the testing on those works, we've never had 7 & 8 tested and we saw Dr. G for 1.5 years.  I never really cared much about them since he was on antivirals for HHV6 and EBV (HHV4) anyway.  Get on antivirals and antifungals. Also, since you know that he tested positive for CMV, what were the titers?  It seems to me that if they are high, he needs antivirals for that anyway. I had never had chicken pox, and when I was 32 my dad got shingles, and I actually caught chicken pox from him. I had no idea shingles could be contagious. As you know, that virus can remain dormant without someone showing visible signs of having it; so I would think that it's entirely possible that your child contracted the virus from you, but it may not have presented as outright chicken pox (rash, etc.), but could be casuing his symptons. Seems to me that a trial of some type of anti-viral or vitamin A high dose protocol (although vit A may just target measles; not sure if it would target rubella) or something would be in order. It's true that Stan Kurtz's son did not test positive for viruses.
