Read through to the bottom to see how to minimize detox when using the patches....along with the 3 things sent earlier. (Also look for the longer version of detox in general in that digest 3101.. as it also includes Flu ,fever and more explanation... for any type of detox when starting new supplements or program/protocols.) : For LW Y-age Glutathione booster patches " If too many toxins enter the blood stream too fast you may transiently experience various symptoms of toxicity which can range from : " (--Note: These can all be avoided by lowering dosage..or time worn) "* Mild -to -severe fatigue * headaches, * sleepiness, * diarrhea, * post nasal drip, * sore throat * minor skin breakouts * joint pain * muscle aches * foggy thinking * poor concentration * nervousness * metallic taste in the mouth * sweating ETC... If at any time, you begin to feel unwell while wearing LW patches, take the patch or patches off for at least 4 hours or the rest of the day. ALWAYS DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. Each patch has about 12 hours of effectiveness." (Water not only flushes toxins out but it allows for greater conductivity thereby making the patches more effective.) I find that activated charcoal is also helpful for binding the loosened toxins for excretion..but take it away from supplements so they are not binded out also. Here's some additional observations from my own usage-- which are also confirmed in the studies by Dr.Chez..( using pill form as well) For the Y- age Carnosine boosters: * same as above --- all if dose is too high or too fast * irritability & tenseness---if dose is too high * hyperactive behavior ---if dose is too high Note: Since some people can wear the patches 12 hours in one day... some will be TEMPTED to do so TOO QUICKLY. We have found that going slowly with dosages allows for positive benefits and minimal OR NO side effects. It's best to start on the weekend to monitor behavior for side effects. Effective length of time worn of each type of patch can range from 30 minutes ( as with babies).. to 12 hours.per day ( as with some teens or adults) =every OTHER day. Note the # of minutes or hours you feel good while wearing the patches ( before any detox symptoms start)..and repeat that time worn every OTHER day. Gradually increase time worn...as your body lessens it's toxic load... and as you find the ideal benefits. Note Again: Most likely.. from our experience... the Carnosine patches will last longer for you than the Glutathione patches..for the following reason. With us... We got effective results ( better focus, motivation, ability to articulate, think clearly, increased production)---not to mention the unfelt internal stuff --like rejuvenating old cells into new cells) with only 2 hours worn..each time we've worn it...any more WAS too much detox.AT FIRST...But not later. ..after a short time we worked up to wearing them 12 hours per day...with no detox. But if one is sensitive... wearing ONE Carnosine Patch 2 hours per day--and that patch can be reused 6 more days (every OTHER day) = 12 hours of wearing time... THAT ONE patch could last me almost 2 WEEKS !. (That is extremely cost effective -- as one order could last Months at that rate.) Most people I know find they can wear the Glutathione booster longer at first --than the Carnosine patch...so for that reason it may be likely that you will use up your supply GSH boosters faster than your Carnosine boosters.
