Guest guest
when someone gets it straight, give me a call. about the only thing I know for sure is that allergy testing and immunoglobulin testing does prove alot more than some would like us to know and I sujest it be done asap after exposure or during exposure and again later on. as it appears to me that it does show proof of exposure and immune effects even if it's not totally understood exactly whats what. maybe with more testing of immunoglobulins they would figure it all out. still seems to me that by putting everything in one group and calling them allergens/allergies is the biggest problem here as theres obviously a difference in doses regarding allergens and toxins even though they are all pathogenic or cause pathogenic immune effects. when it all meshes together like that and no dose responce is figured out than there needs to be a seperation in some other way. theres a hudge difference in haveing a allergy effect and haveing a anaphylaxis effect/like effect and so on. yes, I have come to detest the word " allergy " " IgG,infection,IgE,inflammation " search th1,th2 responces in the lungs/cited http://www.jimmunol.org/cgi/content/abstract/167/8/4518 immunoglobulins, lung, mucosa, cited http://iai.asm.org/cgi/content/abstract/69/4/2328
Guest guest
I agree, I'm beginning to detest thet word " allergy " as well, even thogh I know I have allergies to pollen, dust mites, animal dander, etc but I have tested twice as not being " allergic " to molds. The Infectious Disease doctor I went to (who didn't know much about mold toxins/mycotoxins) basically said if I was having symptoms from mold in my home that I should go back to the allergist since I was basically having an allergy, ( " allergic " effects). He diagnosed me as having " allergies " (which most doctors I have seen say the same thing because they don't understand the difference between an " allergic " response and a toxic response. It's so frustrating!!!!!!
