Guest guest
No, you should be fine with the Advair/Singulair. Ive taken it this way for well over a year now with no effects. Ive actually taken it in advair, flonase, and a cream form for eczema on my feet all at the same time come to think of it. Ann Re: is my asthma getting me or am i getting sick i am going to call my doctor back 2morrow for sure, cause i think i got a sinus infection. friday was so stuffy i could hardly breathe out my nose, then everyday day since like thursday wake up hardly able to talk due to hoarseness. and i am still stuffy and yesterday i pretty much coughed all evening, and i started the inhaler on thursday so u would think it would have started to work by now i feel so crappy and just want to feel better. > > >> > > > > > >> > > > > ** > > >> > > > > > > >> > > > > > > >> > > > > monday morning i woke up feeling kinda sick, i was little stuffy and > > >> > a tad > > >> > > > > hoarse, then monday afternoon was by the air conditioner for like a > > >> > minutes > > >> > > > > then i ended up having an asthma attack and needed my inhaler. then > > >> > > > > yesterday morning woke up kinda the same way, then i ended up having > > >> > another > > >> > > > > asthma attack and needed my inhaler cause i was gagging, then most of > > >> > day i > > >> > > > > was ok then i ended up coming home from work with a semi nauseous > > >> > headache > > >> > > > > and i had that most of the evening. then today i woke up hoarse again > > >> > and i > > >> > > > > was coughing some to this morning. i let my bedroom door open during > > >> > the day > > >> > > > > so that air can get into my room and cool it off, but at bedtime i > > >> > close my > > >> > > > > door. i been using my peak flow and it has been normal so that is not > > >> > a > > >> > > > > problem. Guest guest
here is an update i went to the doctors today and i got a quick exam she looked at ears, throat, felt glands and checked lungs. never did say what was wrong, but said i needed to go on antibiotics as well as still using my inhaler and said if this does not work then i need to a specialist. so for now i am going to take antibiotics and the inhaler cause my cough went from dry to semi junkie. and willow i saw ur comment on the nebulizer post and i had some questions for u .. u said that the nebulizer works good for u. i was wondering if u could tell me based on what i post if i could benefit from one: i sometimes get so much phlegm that usually makes me want to throw up and the day i had my breathing test i had so much phlegm that i kept throwing up and i did te first test took a breathing treatment and that got rid of about 85% of my phlegm and it made it so much eaiser to do the second test. and plus when i get sick i get a good chesty cough with it so i was wondering if a nebulizer would help me in any way and if so how do it get one? > > > > I can certainly relate to this topic. I have underlying autoimmune issues, so when I run a low grade fever that spikes in the afternoon, it's always a mystery to know if I'm actually getting sick, or just flaring. Last month the doctor ordered some antibiotics because he didn't like my afternoon temps, and I did feel better, but never did know what was wrong or if it was an infection, which part of me was unhappy. > > > > JoAnn > > >
Guest guest
Hi:I know you didn't ask for my opinion so I hope you don't mind my weighing in. I absolutely think you should see a specialist. Even they struggle sometimes and they specialize in these issues. The other thing my doctor recommended when I had a cold and was quite phlegmy was Mucinex. I had to use smaller doses than they recommended but you might want to ask your doctor about that and give it a try. Hope you feel better soon. here is an update i went to the doctors today and i got a quick exam she looked at ears, throat, felt glands and checked lungs. never did say what was wrong, but said i needed to go on antibiotics as well as still using my inhaler and said if this does not work then i need to a specialist. so for now i am going to take antibiotics and the inhaler cause my cough went from dry to semi junkie. and willow i saw ur comment on the nebulizer post and i had some questions for u . u said that the nebulizer works good for u. i was wondering if u could tell me based on what i post if i could benefit from one: i sometimes get so much phlegm that usually makes me want to throw up and the day i had my breathing test i had so much phlegm that i kept throwing up and i did te first test took a breathing treatment and that got rid of about 85% of my phlegm and it made it so much eaiser to do the second test. and plus when i get sick i get a good chesty cough with it so i was wondering if a nebulizer would help me in any way and if so how do it get one? > > > > I can certainly relate to this topic.
