Guest guest
Hi Caroline - cruciferous veggies are goitrogenic. I've never noticed a problem when I eat them, but if you eat a lot of them without cooking them, it could be a problem. (Cooking removes most of the goitrogens.). See our Links section for a list/ discussion on other goitrogenic foods. I am not sure about the Iodine interaction. > > hi i am new. my name is caroline, i have hasimotos. I am wondering about cucifous veggies, they seem to make me worse, why would this be. should i stay away from them, and does anyone else have this problem? also i don't take iodine because it makes me worse, so if i was to have any cuciferous veggies i couldn't counteract it wilt iodine. >
