It's Lewy Body Dementia. It's a disease that my mother is a victim to

and it's devastating to the family. It's the 2nd most common form of

dementia -- yet, time & time again it's misdiagnosed -- and a

misdiagnosis can be deadly. Luckily it didn't take my mother's life,

but because she was misdiagnosed she received the wrong medication

and in turn now in a nursing home - yet just a year ago she was

living on her own by herself. I would guesstimate that it took 2

years of self-sufficient life from her.

(Lewy Body Dementia Association) There is also a Yahoo group of LBD

caregivers on Yahoo -- LBDCaregivers

Please consider seriously on doing an article about LBD so that the

information is out there for those who need it. If I could just turn

back the clock and know then what I know now -- my mother would not

be in a nursing home right now.
