Guest guest
Here is how the mold situation at Brucker Hall at Rockland Community College was positioned by the paper. http://tinyurl.com/6ee2wt It reinforces for me that people simply don't get it in the general population - I gave the reporter, who I allowed to break this story back in June, the FOIL'd contract between the county and the Colden Corp, which specifically states that Dr Magari was hired (and I quote , " TO LIMIT LIABILITY " for the college. I went toe to toe with her at this meeting, citing that stachy was found in the basement level of the bldg, getting her to admit that people have died from stachy exposure, etc - yet they still go out with a headline from her reported recommendations (not closing the bldg). Friends, if you wouldn't mind writing to Ben Rubin at the Journal news (bfrubin@...) to tell him that he needs to follow up with some real facts on the findings - he doesn't state that it isn't ok to leave people in the bldg to " see " if they react or not, as was done with me in 2005. Share your interpretations of the situation at RCC - the main point being that the bldg should be closed until it is waterproofed at the basement level ( AS WAS RECOMMENDED AFTER REMEDIATION EIGHT YEARS AGO!) or else more and more people will get sick, and somebody WILL die from this. I appreciate your support. Missy Gluckmann Ex RCC employee , poisoned by mold and bacteria in Brucker Hall
