Guest guest
... If I understand you correctly, if you have an IGg done and it shows a negative result, and you are 100% sure you were exposed to " X " mold, you then have the HLA gene, preventing your body from creating the anti bodies to carry the toxin out of your body??? My 9 month old and I had an IGg run on both our bloods and both were " negative " . I am %100 percent sure of the exposure from the moldy RV we were in. It tested positive for high levels of Aspergillus, Cladosporium and Stachybotrys. Thanks! Guest guest
I have both - Late diagnosed lyme disease - diagnosed 9 months late by positive elisa and igm back in 1999. it had already gotten to my CNS and of course i was under treated. My lyme is chronic. BUT - at my worst i couldnt walk or pour a glass of water. now i am left with CFS and a siezure disorder. I was able to do things. like crafts and help my son with a small ebay business he had. When we moved 2 1/2 years ago to toxic hell - the change in me was incredible. every symptom over those two and 1/2 years worsened. to the point i just slept all the time. I made an appointment with a new lyme dr. he tested me for everything under the the sun, including a $200.0 ingenx test i paid for. that came back kind of positive. (go figure) but he also tested for Stachybactri atra (sP) iga ige igg, i came up positive on the IGA. thats when he told me i had to get out of there. its been 4 months now and i am starting to feel somewhat better. thank goodness. at least i can breath. i see my lyme dr. weekly. and i follow a pretty strict diet. there isnt much you can do but get away. you have to treat the mold before you treat the lyme because the antibiotics have mold or cause mold, i dont know. just what he tells me. So there is a test. but like lyme not everyone comes up positive and like lyme not everyone gets chronicly ill from it. roe in staten island/ > > As I understand shoemaker, those who get sickest to mold have the HLA > gene the makes them unable to make antibodies to mold-therefore they > cannot tag the toxin and evacuate it-therefore they need cholestrymine > to do this. Guest guest
Hi there--yes if its stachy, you have to get out, it seems. Beth Short-Ray, in contrast, remediated aspergillus in her home (and left her stachy office). However, she's early in lyme--unlike you being late stage when diagnosed. She still has a chance. I'm just urging her to see a lyme specialist in her area. That's the best I can do.
