Guest guest
Rhinocerebral phycomycosis, commonly referred to as mucormycosis, is a rare but serious opportunistic infection of the sinuses and brain caused by saprophytic fungi. Other rare variants of mucormycosis include pulmonary, cutaneous, gastrointestinal, and disseminated forms. Rhinocerebral mucormycosis, the most common manifestation of mucormycosis, is a usually fatal fulminant infection. Guest guest
Thanks for this post. I believe this may be what my symptoms have been for the past 3 weeks. I knew something had changed with my symptoms as for as severity and frequency but just thought it was more of the CFS, mold, etc. My eyes have been extremely blurry lately and my headaches have been more severe and frequent, plus I've been having chronic fevers which I didn't have before. I'll go back to my allergist and see what he says. ~Dana > > Rhinocerebral phycomycosis, commonly referred to as mucormycosis, is a > rare but serious opportunistic infection of the sinuses and brain > caused by saprophytic fungi. Guest guest
Please take the mold seriously... Your eyes, like your sinus and respiratory tract, are on the front lines because they are wet, vulnerable, and are impacted by anything in the air.. 24/7 For the eyes, you should see a good eye doctor.. Maybe you can get a referral to one who wont try to tell you they know more than what " your own eyes " tell you.
Guest guest
I do take the mold seriously. The problem is, these doctors don't take me seriously! Plus, I have Medi-Cal (HMO) and you can only go to doctors that they contract with. Unless, I come up with some more money, I can't do anything now. --- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > Please take the mold seriously... Guest guest
Didn't " The Man Without a Face " have rhinocerebral mucormycosis? I don't know what I would do if I were a doctor and an ambulatory patient with no medical background came in to me telling me they might have rhinocerebral mucormycosis. I am just trying to put myself in their position, not speculating as to what you do have. Actually, your symptoms are similar to what I had when I was being exposed to mold on a daily basis and then fter I moved out, they diminshed as the time out of there increased in a linear fashion. The most important thing is that they stopped getting worse.. gsgirl.. at some point, you have to make a decision.. to move on.. your life will be this never ending battle/nightmare until you do, and your health will in all probability keep getting worse and worse.. Everyone keeps hoping we can make full recoveries afterward (myself included) but the facts seem to actually be that the longer you are there, the sicker you get and often, many bad things are permananent... Your daughter, is she living with you or with relatives? On Mon, Sep 8, 2008 at 2:39 AM, gsgrl2000 <gsgrl2000@...> wrote: > I do take the mold seriously. Guest guest
You know, if you didn't live in LA, you could probably get a better job. Hell, you can read and write.. And your grammar is perfect. Elsewhere, rent might be cheaper.. CA is very expensive relative to other states..

Guest guest
I had a good job before I got sick- that's not the problem. The problem is I'm to sick to work.... --- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > You know, if you didn't live in LA, you could probably get a better job. > > Hell, you can read and write..
