Guest guest
Jeanie- Since you are not the one in your family who is sick, and you are the Mom in charge of cleaning and moving, it is going to be hard for you to hear what I am saying, and to believe it. Your childs health is at risk-if you think I am being extreme in my recomendations-believe me -I have seen many people on this group make mistakes with moving-, including myself, and have to move all over again, with much more added expense. Please observe these rules. #1Take nothing with you. Have a huge moving sale and sell everything that is not near and dear to you. #2Put the rest in Storage. #3Normal clothes washing will do nothing for the toxin in your clothes-but it will remove spores, if you use lots of bleach for white, ammonia on darks, and rinse with vinigar. You should do this at a commercial laundry. For the next de-tox you must have access to a washer overnight. In one move, I just stacked the plastic bags of laundry outside and brought them in one at a time to wash them-The soap is called Vulpex, it can be purchased a Consevation Resources in VA. Google it. A litre is $60 and will give you 8 washes-Shake it ,measure it, and use hot water-overnight soak. then a couple of rinses in the morning useing baking soda or vinigar and you are good to go. If you wish to save money-you can overnight soak with a strong bleach solution on the whites, but this is injuouse to the clothes, and not half as good at removing the toxins, believe me , I have tried this dozens of times.Polertec, fleece is impossible to remove except with this special soap. Buy cheap new things foe your new space-like blow up beds-and borrow from relatives. Please live like this untill everyone is healthy again, even if that takes over a year. My first move, it took me 1 year and 3 months to regain my health. If you bring computors or anything into your new space, it will contaminate it within a few days, as the toxin will off-gas a s the days go by, and in a few weeks, will be as bad as your old space. It is the toxin, not the spores, that make you sick, although the spores certainly can release toxin. Decontaminating your other things can be done, but that is for another e-mail-feel free to back channel me anytime-I am open to helping anyone over the phone with their de-contamination issues.
