Guest guest
My last blood test showed no staybatris (sp) atra iga in my system! My doctor and I am very pleased with this. We know we are not out of the woods yet (i have lyme that needs to be treated) so we are keeping me away from antibiotics for at least another 4 weeks. and i will be staying on this diet change for a long time. i really need to talk about thrift stores and stuff. look not every one is as sensitive to mold as people with compromised immune systems. now i have donated many things to thrift stores before i knew my home was contaminated. in Staten island we have a recycle email program and we exchange things between our group. i had no idea i my things were infected. i gave many things away. i will say only this. if i cant afford to buy it new. i will not buy it. i threw all the contents of my apartment out. everything. that place made me so sick, so sick i wanted to die. i never wanted to see that stuff again. i kept anything that could go into a hot water wash with ammonia. i might have over reacted but it all seams to be working except that i am so tired all the time. but that could be my Lyme disease. who knows. at least i know i am on my way to being better. i am being very careful and suggest you all should be too. Guest guest
Hello, Can you tell me what kind of blood tests actually test for toxic mold in your blood stream and what medication you used prior to your last blood test to get rid of the mold in your blood stream? Congrats on getting it out of your blood!! Elias p.s. I left everything behind as well.
Guest guest
the test is called the Stachybotrys panel ll strachybotrys chartarum IGE stachybotrys Chartarum IGM stachybotrys Chartarum IGA Now i came up positive on the IGA part of the test. not everyone will come up positive. the rest of my family had it done and came up negative. I had direct contact with teh stachy by inhalation when i removed plastic from my horribly insulated windows. apperently they were filled with this stuff. along with an area in my living cieling under my land lords cieling that had a leak for about 2 years. this was a beautiful apartment with no signs of mold anywhere. we had no clue. i am just lucky that i was already ill (go figure that statement) and had doctors i could go to who knew what they were doing. My doctor tested me for all the lyme tests along with this mold test and i had no idea he was even doing it. i still dont feel well, but who knows why. i have so many things wrong with me and now this. i just know what ever i am doing - leaving that hell hole and following a diet that doesnt encourage mold grouwth. as far as csm or what ever - i didnt do that. that was also big in the '90s to help people with lyme disease. it didnt work. it was used to erraticate the spirokeetes. but it was just another thing that didnt work. i am on a lot of meds for siezurs and thyroid and depression. i dont want to mess with anything else unless i have to. so i am stuck dreaming of jelly donuts. oh well maybe someday oh by the way, i had the above test done at least 4 times at quest - my insurance covered everyone of them. so you shouldnt have a problem.\ good luck to everyone who has been exposed to this. its been hell
Guest guest
How long was the duration of time that you were exposed?
Guest guest
Hi Roe, Thanks so much for the info. I dont have health insurance right now so maybe its not a viable option. As you mentioned some tests were inconclusive on other family members exposed so dont want to chance out of pocket expenses esp since my pockets are bare these days. Just to let you know i had some great luck with lamisil anti fungal pills. God Bless Elias
