Guest guest
LiveSimply, I don't talk about colonizations at all. In fact, I wouldn't even know how to talk about colonizations. I'm not a doctor and I'm not trying to take the place of anyone's doctor. As you have said in other messages (including one of your messages today), each of us has to educate ourselves and do the best we can to figure out what works for each of us. You even pointed out that your own personalized treatment plan is very different from Dr. Shoemaker's plan. You use CSM, but you also use several other things. It is great that you have found a treatment that helps you feel better. Many on this Group are suffering greatly and can't find an answer that works for them or a doctor who will help them. As I have said previously, each of us is exposed to different types of fungi and mycotoxins, so I don't think there is " one cure " that will work for everyone. I believe you agree with that point because you found your own treatment protocol. I thought the original message from Barb about Dr. Tiedlebaum was interesting because he is a doctor and he discovered that antifungals worked for him. I just wanted to bring attention to Barb's message because this treatment was " discovered and used by a doctor " for his own health issues and he found success. If antifungals could help some of the people who are suffering, then I hope they will discuss it as an option with their doctors. The main point is to help each other find ways to get our health back or at least minimize the suffering. Re: [] Chronic Fatigue & Antifungal Where is the fungal infection that is being treated? Does you doctor know something, say, did you do blood work that said " Candida was here " ? or something similar? Without a clear target, (i.e. some evidence- test results- that there is a fungal infection inside the body somewhere) how would a doctor know what antifungal to use? Drug resistant pathogens are becoming a serious problem. The methodology behind the use of antibiotcs and antifungals incorporates procedures to ensure that the dose of drug is sufficient to kill off the infective agent. Inadequate dose or duration of treatment will result in the creation of new, drug resistant strains that defy treatments. Without knowing WHAT to treat, how does a doctor treat X?
