Guest guest
Gwen, I don't do that and don't like the idea of soaking or using bleach either. I do wash them of course, using water, and filtered water as the last rinse. Kathy
Guest guest
I wouldn't use bleach on my food! I use a little dish soap (natural) and I only do that with my conventionally grown fruits and veggies. I give the organic ones a rinse and that's about it. Memory Keeping at Its Best! _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Gwen Shaneck Sent: Tuesday, June 07, 2005 9:25 PM Subject: washing vegetables What do you all use to wash your vegetables? In NT she recommends soaking them in 1 gallon of water with 1 tsp bleach, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Is it really safe? Guest guest
Alot of people wash their veggies in peroxide. If it has any visible mold-I throw it out-quietly-don't want to wake up the mold Thanks,
