Guest guest
I had the de-tethering a year a ago and it's hard to be comfortable with the stitches - so loose fitting shirts she doesn't have to move a lot to get into or that won't be even a little tight on her back and loose pants like sweat pants. Draw strings are best because you can make them loose enough to sit right below her hips so it won't rub on the sititches. Obviously lots of gauze and tape and had to make our own little contraption with the tape so it wouldn't fall if I moved around the little I did. Side note for later: we used baby oil to get the glue from the tape off my back b./c after a few weeks there was black sticky stuff from the tape all over. - and they also have great things at drug stores like cloths to wash your face without water and your hair too b/c no showers for a little while. O and an extra pillow for between her knees when she sleeps b/c of the pain from laying on your hips so much b/c you cannot lay on your stomach only your sides. Sorry I rambled - Good Luck! -
