Feliciana schools to resume The Advocate* By JAMES MINTON Advocate Baker-Zachary bureau Published: Sep 8, 2008 http://www.2theadvocate.com/news/27997979.html CLINTON — East Feliciana Parish school officials had planned to resume classes parishwide Wednesday but have discovered serious mold and mildew problems in the School Complex, Schools Superintendent Beauchamp said today. As a result, only Slaughter Elementary, Clinton High School, Clinton Middle School and Clinton Elementary School will have classes Wednesday, Beauchamp said. A small amount of mold was found at Clinton High School, but Beauchamp said it should be cleaned up in time for Wednesday classes. Teachers and other employees should report to Slaughter Elementary and Clinton Middle and Elementary schools Tuesday to help prepare the classrooms for use on Wednesday. Classes will be suspended for students at Elementary, Middle and High School until the mold is cleaned, he said. Power was restored at all campuses early today, he said.
