Guest guest
Please read this paper.. Its very technical but basically, its about a phenomenon that makes people who have been exposed to bacteria far more sensitive to a number of mycotoxins.. (not just DON, but this paper is about DON, follow the links to " related papers " for more on other mycotoxins) http://toxsci.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/full/92/2/445 Toxicol Sci. 2006 Aug;92(2):445-55. Epub 2006 May 9. Toll-like receptor priming sensitizes macrophages to proinflammatory cytokine gene induction by deoxynivalenol and other toxicants. Pestka J, Zhou HR. Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, and Center for Integrative Toxicology, Michigan State University, East Lansing, 48824, USA. pestka@... Huh? what and why? Abscesses in infected teeth, as well as under the gumline often produce toxins called endotoxins. They are related to the endotoxins produced by the bacteria in dirty water damaged buildings. " LPS " - in the paper.. (for example, flood waters containing raw sewage is typically LOADED with HUGE amounts of these LPS.. they also exist in your GI tract, and healthy people's bodies prevent them from entering the bloodstream, BUT, if you have a leaky gut, or reflux, or any of a number of other not too uncommon conditions, they get into you and can make you sick.. Add mycotoxins to the mix and its 10-100 times worse than it would be otherwise!) Priming that can make some mycotoxins effect you 10 to 100 times more than they would have if you had not been exposed to the endotoxins first. This has been very well documented, but its one of the things that the so called experts pointedly ignore in their pontifications on mold's " harmlessness " . (At this point, in my opinion, that fake pretending they don't know this IMPORTANT FACT is not only criminally negligent, its also one of the ways that we can SEE AS PLAIN AS DAY that they are lying when they try to say they are 'scientific' or 'unbiased'. ) So, watch out for those endotoxins.. They are part of the reason any infection shold get looked at by a doctor. Infected/abscessed teeth can and have killed people. Badly done root canals are a ood example, the endotoxins inside the tooth stream into your bloodstream and can cause heart problems, we now know. You know, teeth can also get infected if work is done on them - for example, if dental instruments or the tooth aren't sterilized properly. Infected gums also often harbor colonies of both fungi (like candida) and bacteria, sometimes living together in clumps or films that are classified as " biofilms " . From what I have read they are particularly troublesome for old people who wear dentures because they live under the dentures and they can serve as reservoirs for yeast and other infections that can re-colonize the GI tract over and over again, and they can also make people chronically sick by serving as a constant source of low-level infection. and EE, THOSE yeasts would respond to antifungals, I suspect! Candida is a different kind of toxic " mold " . If you can afford to, get your teeth fixed. You will feel much better afterward and you also won't be damaged as much by mycotoxins you encounter. Guest guest
Note about teeth: 1) I use Allimax liquid allicin. When I ran out, teeth/bone/gum stuff flared up really badly 2) Oil pulling with organic sesame oil seems to help. Sounds wacko but it does! I have a feeling it works mechanically, pulling the lipid-loving bacteria into the oil. 3) Floss. I hate it, but I understand it works 4) Can ozonate dental pockets if you have the proper setup. I plan to do so.
